OECM Community of Practice: breaking the ice with a Forêt Marine case study
QUOI ? WHAT?
Afin de rendre plus concrets les critères d’analyse d’un projet en tant qu’AMCE, nous vous invitons à découvrir le cas de la Forêt marine, un magnifique territoire appartenant au Musée maritime de Charlevoix ! Au menu : une présentation de l’historique de la Forêt marine par le Musée, les éléments ayant permis d’identifier ce territoire comme étant prioritaire pour la conservation de la biodiversité par la Région de biosphère de Charlevoix, puis les éléments clés de l’analyse du dossier en tant que potentielle AMCE, par Nature Québec, suivi d'une période de questions.
To make the criteria for analyzing OECM proposals clearer for all, we will look at the case of the Forêt Marine, a splendid site managed by the Musée maritime de Charlevoix! On the agenda: the Museum will present the history of the Forêt Marine; Région de la biosphère de Charlevoix will talk about the characteristics of the site that led to it being identified as a priority for biodiversity conservation; and Nature Québec will highlight the most important aspects of the analysis of the case as a potential OECM, followed by a Q&A.
